Mr Lim is the founder and Executive Chairman of the PhillipCapital Group of companies. He is also the Chairman of listed IFS Capital Limited in Singapore.

He is an honour roll on Securities and Futures Stockbroking under "The Distinguished Financial Industry Certified Professionals" awarded by the Financial Industry Competency Standards(FICS) in 2012.

He served previously as a board member in the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore(IRAS) and on a number of committees and sub-committees of the Stock Exchange of Singapore.

He received the Singapore Achievement Award from the Singapore Exchange in 2010.

In 1997, he was appointed Chairman of the Stock Exchange of Singapore (SES) Review Committee, responsible for giving recommendations to make Singapore Capital Market more globalised, competitive and robust to compete globally.

He was awarded the Public Service Medal (PBM) in 1999 by the Singapore Government. 

Mr Patrick Yang is the Managing Director of Phillip Private Equity. He has been involved in venture capital investments since 1991 and has 25 years of experience working with local enterprises beginning with his stint in the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) where he was primarily involved in the development of SMEs in Singapore. He has been instrumental in establishing & nurturing the corporate venture capital business of the ECICS Group since 1990.

An MBA graduate from the University of Bradford, U.K., Patrick also holds a B.Sc. (Hons) (Mechanical Engineering) from the University of Leeds, U.K. Prior to joining the ECICS Group in February 1990 as Assistant General Manager of IFS, Patrick was heading the Enterprise Development (Commerce & Services) Group at the Singapore Economic Development Board.

Mr Chan is a Director of Phillip Private Equity. Mr Chan has been involved in venture capital investments since 1994 at EMPL and has made over 40 investments ­ranging from seed, early-stage, development to mezzanine financing of companies in Singapore and South-East Asia. He has also developed many relationships with local venture capital firms, local regulatory authorities as well as built an extensive network of contacts in Asia.

Prior to joining the venture capital business in October 1994, Mr Chan worked as a "hands-on" operational executive. He has over 9 years' experience in both management and marketing of financial products such as factoring & leasing - to SMEs in particular.

Mr Chan was also based in Jakarta, managing PT Niaga Factoring as its General Manager for two years from 1992 to 1994. PT Niaga Factoring is the first Indonesian factoring house established as a joint-venture between PT Bank Niaga and International Factors (Singapore) Ltd.

Mr Chan graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Business Administration majoring in Finance. He was also one of two Singaporeans that were selected to attend a "Young Professional Visitors Program" sponsored by the Helsinki University of Technology.

Ms Tang is a Director of Phillip Private Equity. She joined Phillip Private Equity as a Senior Investment Analyst in 1999. Ms Tang is actively involved in capital-raising, venture capital investing which include deal sourcing, deal evaluation, structuring, negotiations on investment terms, documentation and monitoring of investments. Ms Tang has developed extensive relationships within the venture capital community, regulatory authorities and relevant contacts particularly in China.

Prior to this, Ms Tang was the Senior Executive of ECICS Property Ltd, a subsidiary of the ECICS Group, from 1995. Her responsibilities included real estate investments, business development, project management and marketing of all residential, commercial and hospitality projects in Singapore and Asia.

From 1992 to 1994, Ms Tang started her career as an Executive with the Land Dealings Unit, Ministry of Law where she administered the foreign ownership of residential property in Singapore.

Ms Tang graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1992, majoring in Mathematics and Economics. She has also completed an Advanced Diploma in Real Estate & Property Management from the University of Technology, Sydney, in 1997.

Mr Koo is a director of Phillip Private Equity.

Mr Koo is also a director in Sigma Drilling Ltd, a joint venture between the Skeie Group (based in Norway) and Vantage Drilling Ltd (NYSE:VTG) to develop a fleet drill-ships for the offshore oil and gas industry currently being built in Korea. Mr Koo’s focus is on the offshore energy sector, the marine sector and bio-medical device sector. Mr Koo currently holds directorships in several companies related to the offshore energy industry.

Mr Koo is a director in Lien Aid Ltd, a non-profit charity organisation. Lien Aid is a partnership between the Lien Foundation and Nanyang Technological University to advance the provision of clean water and sanitation for the benefit of communities in Asia not yet adequately empowered with sustainable solutions that improve health, alleviate economic stagnation, and mitigate environmental degradation.

Mr Koo started his career in 1996 with Keppel Land Ltd, during which he was based in Indonesia to develop a 447Ha resort in Bintan, consisting of ClubMed hotel and a Gary Player designed golf course. Subsequently, he joined the Economic Development Board (“EDB”) as a senior officer until 1999. At the EDB, he served under the Enterprise Development Division which supports the needs of promising local enterprises in Singapore.

He was the CEO and founder of iPropertyNet Ltd, which was granted the in-principle approval to list on the Stock Exchange of Singapore in 2000. An investment of iPropertyNet Ltd, Sygate Technologies, a technology leader in endpoint compliance security solutions, was also acquired by Symantec (NASDAQ: SYMC) in 2005. Mr Koo was also the co-founder and management of Mikrotools, an ultra-precision company that was spun-off from the National University of Singapore.

Mr Koo holds an MBA from the Imperial College London and a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering from the National University of Singapore.

Linus focuses on product development as well as investment strategy at the Phillip Capital Management.

Prior to PhillipCapital, he was at the Investments business of Citibank Asia Pacific. He has been with PhillipCapital since 2001 where he has been involved in equity research as well as corporate finance both in Singapore and the UK.

Linus is a graduate from the London School of Economics and also holds an MBA from the Anderson school of Management at UCLA.
